Melanie is a Licensed Social Worker and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with years of experience working with adults struggling with addiction. Melanie also has experience working with clients who struggle with various concerns such as depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem. She earned her Bachelor’s of Social Work and Master’s of Social Work from Cleveland State University. Melanie has experience with individual and group settings in inpatient and outpatient treatment. Melanie takes a humanistic approach and is passionate about empowering clients to be the best version of themselves. Melanie has experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy. She primarily uses concepts from DBT, but will take an individualized approach in session to meet each client’s needs.
