Karen Wolfe is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the State of Ohio, with several years of experience working with Children, Adolescents, and Families.  Karen earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University in Chicago Illinois where she was working directly with culturally diverse youth and their families. Karen then moved back to Ohio, and began working in an outpatient setting where she gained experience in providing both individual and group counseling services. 

Karen approaches therapy as a collaborative relationship between the therapist and the client and/or family. Karen works to create a warm and trusting environment where clients feel comfortable to express themselves, and helps support the client in accomplishing their individualized goals. 

Karen utilizes multiple approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and client centered therapy. Karen also  incorporates techniques from play therapy and art therapy. Treatment is guided by specific needs of each client.
