Jessica Pope earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kent State University, and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the State of Ohio. She has a history of providing individual and group counseling services to adults with eating disorders. This experience has allowed her to enhance her skillset and gain a holistic perspective of mental health challenges.

She also has experience working with anxiety, depression, major life adjustments, social skills, building self-esteem, communication skills and limits/boundary setting.

She takes a collaborative approach to counseling and places an emphasis on the client being the expert in his/her/their own life. Although Jessica primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), she also incorporates Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) when necessary. She feels passionate about assisting others with increasing effective coping skills, and reaching a life that feels more worth living.  She is dedicated to taking a non-judgmental approach and providing a safe and supportive environment.
