About Jessica Holland, LPCC-S
Jessica Holland is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor and received her Master of Education in Clinical Counseling from Malone University. Over the 10 years that she has been practicing, she has provided counseling to clients of all ages in community mental health settings as well as school and home settings through her work as an Intensive Home-Based Therapist working with foster, adoptive, and biological families. Jessica works with clients of all ages, including couples, addressing a variety of mental and emotional issues.
Jessica’s clinical experience includes anxiety (PTSD, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder), mood disorders (depression, bipolar disorder), trauma, adolescent/child behavioral issues, adjustment difficulties, couples counseling, and faith-based counseling. Jessica is a certified PREP- trained facilitator in the PREP approach in couple’s therapy. She uses an integrated approach to counseling by utilizing a variety of techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and trauma focused treatments. Jessica tailors therapy to best fit the needs of the client. She takes a holistic approach to counseling, helping the client consider how all aspects of their life (i.e. relational, physical, mental/emotional, occupational, spiritual) interact to affect their overall well-being. She strives to help clients utilize their strengths and resources to find hope and healing in order to lead more balanced lives.
