Ariana Nehls is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree from Walsh University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, who is also certified as a Chemical Dependency
Counselor Assistant. She has experience working with children, adolescents, teenagers, young
adults, and older adults with various mental health diagnoses. Areas of focus include: depression, anxiety, grief, gender dysphoria, stress, trauma, substance use, bipolar, schizophrenia, eating disorders, and ADHD.

Ariana also affirms LGBTQ and has experience working with LGBTQ clients. She uses a compassionate, respectful, and non-judgmental approach; which is determined by the presenting problem and client preference.

Ariana believes mental health counseling can benefit people struggling with emotional
difficulties, life challenges, and mental health concerns. People do come to therapy to understand themselves better, work through areas that are more difficult, and to improve their ability to thrive and cope with adversity.
