Abbey Moore is a licensed clinical social worker. She is a proud Ohio State alumnus, as it was
there her academic journey began. She graduated from The Ohio State University with honors
earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology. With a strong desire to become a mental health
counselor, Abbey continued her education at Cleveland State University where she earned a
Master’s of Social Work. Abbey has experience with clients of all ages, but particularly with
children 5 – 12 years of age. She presently works as an elementary school mental health
counselor and specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Her preferred
treatment modalities for helping clients are cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused
therapy, and motivational interviewing. Abbey believes that one of the most important
ingredients of successful therapy is a strong rapport between client and therapist; as a result,
she strives to create a unique bond with each and every client. Abbey seeks to create a warm,
non – judgmental, and honest environment, so clients can initiate healing and become
empowered to be the healthiest, happiest versions of themselves.
