About Katelyn Kenny, C.T

Hi, my name is Katelyn Kenny, and I am a graduate student at Baldwin Wallace University pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have also graduated cum laude from Ohio University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. As a counselor trainee, I am devoted to continued learning and am committed to creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space for all clients who come in.

My approach to counseling is grounded in empathy, compassion, and support. I have a goal of creating a safe space for all individuals coming into counseling, as I hope to work collaboratively with each individual as they navigate through their own personal life experiences. I believe meeting clients where they are at and using both a person centered and clinical-based approach is key to creating a positive counselor-client relationship, and vital for seeing personal growth in clients.
